Other than working on food and product photography, I enjoy exploring different photographic venues with a variety of personal projects.
These projects allow me to experiment with multiple styles and techniques, broadening my artistic vision and enriching my overall photographic skills.
Sandwich: Parts of a Whole
In this project, I focused on capturing the essence of a sandwich by highlighting each ingredient in its own epic picture. The project featured the golden crust of focaccia, the fresh crispness of lettuce, the rich texture of spread cheese, the vibrant color of tomatoes, and the savory allure of mortadella.
By giving each component its own moment in the spotlight, I aimed to showcase the unique qualities and beauty of the ingredients that come together to create a delicious and visually appealing sandwich.
Magazine: Food Connects Us
Working for a culinary magazine, I wanted to capture the warm and inviting soul of an orange cake with a simple and comfortable aesthetic. The goal was to create a serene and appealing two-page spread for the issue, highlighting the cake's golden crust, moist interior, and delicious glazed oranges.
Using soft lighting, minimalist backgrounds, and natural elements like fresh oranges and a wooden table, I aimed to evoke a sense of coziness and simplicity, inviting readers to experience the delightful charm of this homemade dessert.
I love nail art, I've always been drawn to glitter and colorful nails, so I wanted to capture the intricate details of a galaxy-themed manicure. I never worked on nail art photography before, and so it was an exciting challenge to figure out how to make the vibrant and luminous colors stand out. By experimenting with various lighting techniques and backgrounds, I aimed to highlight the sparkling glitter and golden streaks.
The project was a fun and rewarding experience, broadening my skills and sparking new creative ideas.
